A very merry Christmas
When an event like Christmas comes around it can be hard to find that extra money you need to buy all those gifts that family and friends are expecting, what with mortgage payments, credit card bills, laser hair removal treatment and all the other expenses we must pay out for, conjuring up any extra money can put a real strain on the wallet.
Knowing how to get cheap pressies and make the most of holiday offers that might be available will help you to give your loved ones that special Christmas they deserve without missing out on all the extra trimmings.
Although Christmas is an event which should be about spending quality time with your family and enjoying all the festivities that this special occasion brings, unfortunately the Christmas season has turned in to one big capitalist consumer event where companies and services try to leech every last penny out of bank balances.
The worst part of it all is that we still get involved, we still take our children to see Santa and we still buy that disgusting looking turkey all stuffed with crap inside it. We cannot get away from the Christmas debacle and the only alternative choice is to buy in. If you know how to give your family and friends all they expect without having to go bankrupt then you will have a chance at surviving the holiday season.
Shop online - In store prices are outrageous! Shopping online at Christmas is the only way forward, you don’t have to get caught up in the mayhem of deluded shoppers on a mission and you can still enjoy average prices.
Second hand stores - If you are one of these people that must experience the thrill of the shop then buy second hand. You can get loads of great pressies for a fraction of the price.
Don’t let the adverts and TV programs convince you that you must blow all your hard earned money on gifts that will most likely be glanced at them tossed away. Just say no!
