The recession in Greece has made the country not only more concerned about its tourism industry but also cheaper for any potential visitors. And this has usually not been the place where teaching assistant jobs holders would aim to go because of the high prices that were usual for the country some years back. The place, however, is perfect - sea or mountains, historical monuments or modern party places and clubs, yachts, fishing, hunting, extreme sports - it is all there in Greece and its thousands of spattered islands.

This year, however, spending money for a holiday in Greece would be much easier. It would be cheaper and everyone would be able to afford visiting even without spending a fortune. Thus people would be able to reduce their holiday expenses and save up some cash. The hotel business has announced that the prices for hotel room have dropped with an overall of some 15% and at some places, where the tourist flow is expected to be quite low this year a person can find a bed for as much as 10 Euros. In the major resorts and cities, the tourist flow would be also surprised by the reduced prices and the quite affordable hotel rooms. For families, there are special deals operating so that you can be sure that the more of your family comes, the more you would be saving.

And the lifestyle prices are also reduced. From the foods and drinks departments of the tourism ministry have announced that the people can rest calm that rather than increasing, the prices are decreasing and special offers are available in almost every restaurant, bar or an open club for visitors. Thus you would save up not only from the hotel rooms but from your general expenses as well. So you would spend a cheaper and an amazing holiday should you decide to visit Greece in 2011.
